TROPA MACACA (pt):: est un duo" lo-fi ambient psych-noise", originaire de Santo Tirso ('un village dans le nord du Portugal), composé de Joana da Conceição (claviers, electronics) & André Ferreira (gtr, electronics - etc). Après diverses sorties chez - notamment - Ruby Red, Qbico, Siltbreeze - ils viennent de publier leur dernier opus, "Ectoplasma" sur Software, le label de Daniel Lopatin (Oneohtrix Point Never... etc).
