Inspirés par le Shoegaze et l'abrasivité de certains groupes phares des 90's, les morceaux de The History of Colour TV sont autant de duels où s'affrontent sensibilité pop et textures bruitistes. Propulsé à la force de guitares saturées, de boites à rythmes primitives et de paysages sonores synthétiques, le groupe oscille entre mélancolie et folie euphorique, évoquant un rêve éveillé au sein duquel ce qui est passé reste à faire, et l’avenir est déjà oublié. Composé de membres originaires des USA et d’Angleterre, The History Of Colour TV est actuellement basé à Berlin.

→ THE PRIDS (Post-punk - USA)

David Frederickson (guitars, vocals) and Mistina La Fave (bass, vocals) started their band together over a decade ago in rural Missouri. They released a slew of 7"s, EPs, and full lengths. They relocated to several cities before landing in beautiful Portland, OR where they now reside. Also of note is the fact that the two fell in love, were married, were divorced, and yet the band continued on. Tim Yates (keys) and Gordon Nickle (drums) round out The Prids sound.
