PASCAL NICHOLS (uk):: beaucoup moins connu & reconnu que le sur-acclamé Chris CORSANO , le Mancunien Pascal NICHOLS - batteur free-post-noise-non-jazz autodidacte extraordinaire - occupe dans mon Panthéon personnel une place au moins comparable, voire - bien plus importante que la star de l'underground US & l'invité prestigieux de Björk.

Egalement dessinateur, cet excellent (non-)musicien a sévi dans plusieurs formations originaires de Manchester (STUCKOMETER, AXIS MUNDI, OPEN EYE ENSEMBLE, UBOAT), et surtout en tant que la moitié de l'excellent duo PART WILD HORSES MANE ON BOTH SIDES (" des impros martelées, reverbérées et entrainantes, une musique de charmeur de serpents nordique" - Les Instans Ch.).

Il est/fut également membre du "super-groupe" LE DRAPEAU NOIR ou membre occasionnel de MOTHERFUCKING.

Basé à Nottingham, Murray Ward s'y occuppe d'un modeste label DIY, The Lows and the Highs Records & fait/a fait de la musique dans moult projets plus ou moins obscurs et souvent bien éphémères (The Failed NASA Experiment, yajé, Black Stepdad, Fredrick Stanley Star, Evils, The (plexus) Collective).
