The band Hillbilly Rawhide began their performances in 2003 and can be considered the pioneer of the Alternative Country Rock in Brazil. With an unique style mixing Outlaw Country, Western, Trucker Music, Psychobilly, Honky Tonk, Bluegrass and Rock`n Roll the band quickly conquered the public. The show usually range from fast songs with a great violin and banjo bluegrass speed until a 70`s country's electric guitar moods and a honky tonk guitar, all of this with a solid double bass and drums. The band still makes interesting versions of great classics of punk rock, bluegrass and metal. The band has released 7 albums and 1 DVD and has already attracted several festivals and tours throughout Brazil and Europe. And in 2013 for the release of his album Ten Years on the Road he toured Europe through 5 countries (Austria, England, France, Holland and Germany) and more than 20 shows. In 2019 the band will be on tour to promote their latest work "My Name is Rattlesnake"
