Qui nous fait danser sur des sons enivrants et des rythmes obsédants ? Du jazz de son enfance au post-punk des clubs d’aujourd’hui, Sydney Valette, dans « Plutôt mourir que crever », arrange et dérange les sons, bouscule les structures classiques et bouleverse l’électronique. Ne sachant se tenir aux structures classiques, Sydney Valette parle, crie, pleure, et improvise les chants de sa religion propre. Son approche poétique, enfantine et destructrice rend à la musique pop l'informalité de ses premières heures. Il interprète son mal être du quotidien d’une voix blanche sur un fond sonore électro-synthétique.

→ DES AMES LIBRES
(Alternative / Noise / Post Punk / Rock / Electronic)
Des Ames Libres use lots of technology but not in a predictable way. There is an exhaustive work in the search of a “humanization” of the electronic material they use: analogue devices from the 70s to the most updated virtual instruments like the Ipad. All them are treated in the same way, trying to give a particular touch to each sound. If besides we add other conventional instruments like electric bass and guitars, you’ll have all the tools they need to make their claustrophobic, enraged, heavy, electric, dense, intense and powerful atmospheres.
